We are the Commercial Service section of the American Embassy in Panama. The Commercial Service, an agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, is the front-line agency for the execution of the U.S. Government’s National Export Initiative (NEI).
Our mission is to promote the export of goods and services made in the U.S. and develop and protect U.S. business interests in Panama. We have a vast network at our fingertips, supported by more than 1,500 international industry and trade specialists whose job it is to provide the best source of customized solutions for U.S. companies (and their Panamanian partners) to do business in the global marketplace.
