Launched in February, 2012, BusinessUSA is the federal government’s official assistance resource for U.S. businesses. A Presidential initiative, BusinessUSA provides businesses, exporters and entrepreneurs with a single access point to relevant and current business-related information on federal government programs, tools and services developed to assist in the growth and development of U.S. businesses. As a government-wide initiative, BusinessUSA is the principal gateway to resources developed to assist entrepreneurs and exporters. The enterprise is co-managed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
BusinessUSA maintains significant partnerships with 24 federal government departments and agencies who provide current, relevant business-related information, programs and services including; Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Export-Import Bank, General Services Administration, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Justice, Labor, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Science Foundation, Overseas Private Investment Corporation, Small Business Administration, State, Trade and Development Agency, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs.
