Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership
Georgia Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center
MBDA provides funding for a network of minority business centers located throughout the nation. The Centers provide minority entrepreneurs with one-on-one assistance in writing business plans, marketing, management and technical assistance and financial planning to assure adequate financing for business ventures. The MBDA Business Center located in Atlanta, GA is operated by the Georgia Tech Research Corporation.
The Centers are staffed by business specialists who have the knowledge and practical experience needed to run successful and profitable businesses. Business referral services are provided free of charge. However, the network generally charges nominal fees for specific management and technical assistance services.

The Georgia Tech Procurement Assistance Center (GTPAC) will train you and your business associates how to navigate the government procurement process. Our classes cover a wide range of government contracting topics and are taught by experts who have many years of government contracting experience.
If you are interested in taking advantage of GTPAC’s services, you are strongly encouraged to attend GTPAC’s “Introduction to Government Contracting” class. This class provides comprehensive instruction on how to do business in the government marketplace and outlines all the fundamentals to get started. Attending this class qualifies attendees to become registered as GTPAC clients and thereby benefit from our complete range of services.
