U.S. Company Certification for Selling to NATO

Total votes: 0

U.S. companies interested in selling to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) must receive U.S. government certification in order to qualify to bid on NATO Security Investment Program funded procurement opportunities here or abroad. The U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) provides on it's Website the associated forms, procedures, related NATO documents, and contact information that U.S. companies need to apply for certification.

BIS is responsible for informing U.S. firms about procurement opportunities associated with NATO. BIS advertises upcoming NATO-funded business opportunities on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov/).

BIS also issues Declarations of Eligibility on behalf of U.S. firms that qualify to bid on NATO's International Competitive Bidding (ICB) program procurements and verifies the eligibility of U.S. companies interested in pursuing ICB and other NATO opportunities.

To apply for eligibility certification for the ICB program, companies must complete the Certification Application which can be accessed at the following Web link: http://www.bis.doc.gov/defenseindustrialbaseprograms/osies/natoprograms/...

Completed forms should be sent by e-mail (PDF file) or fax to Elsie Carroll at Elsie.Carroll@bis.doc.gov or fax to (202) 482-5650. Ms. Carroll can be reached at (202) 482-8228 for additional information.
