The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grant Program at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) makes competitively awarded grants to qualified small businesses to support advanced research related to scientific problems and opportunities in agriculture that could lead to significant public benefit. The SBIR Program for Air, Soil and Water Resources provides grants for research to develop technologies for conserving and protecting air, water and soil resources while sustaining optimal farm and forest productivity and the manufacture of resulting agricultural commodities.

Eligibility: 

All qualified for-profit, small U.S. businesses interested in research to develop technologies for conserving and protecting air, water and soil resources.
