Program:
The Enforcement and Compliance Trade Remedy Compliance staff monitor and analyze the global use of trade remedy measures (e.g., substantial foreign duties imposed on U.S. exports), alert U.S. industry of pending foreign trade remedy actions, and evaluate foreign countries' trade remedy laws in order to address potentially unfair application of trade remedies by foreign governments.

Benefit:
Assist U.S. businesses to better understand the application of trade remedies in foreign markets, note deadlines for filing paperwork and other procedures that should not be missed, and provide support to help ensure that the foreign government conducts any trade remedy investigation fairly and according to international rules.

Summary:
The Trade Remedy Compliance Staff (TRCS) provides U.S. businesses a potent three-pronged approach of monitoring, outreach and advocacy to address potentially unfair application of trade remedies by foreign governments. TRCS help U.S. businesses better understand trade remedies, point out deadlines that should not be missed, and provide support to help ensure that the foreign government conducts the investigation fairly and according to international rules
