Rural Cooperative Development Grant Program

The Rural Cooperative Development Grants (RCDG) program provides grants of up to $200,000 to nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education so they can establish and operate centers for cooperative development.

These Rural Cooperative Development Centers provide technical assistance to individuals and entities located in rural areas - areas with populations of 50,000 or less. The centers will help individuals and entities develop new cooperatives, improve the operation of existing cooperatives, start a business, and expand a business.
