DONATIONS TO THE PHILLIPINES

A Message to the American Business Community From U.S. Embassy Manila

U.S. Embassy Manila has received numerous inquiries from American organizations wishing to contribute to Typhoon Haiyan (aka Yolanda) relief operations. Following a request from the Government of the Philippines, the U.S. Government is actively responding to the crisis, bringing civilian and military assets to assist and coordinate with the Philippine Government’s operations.

While it is not the position of the U.S. Embassy to suggest whether individuals or organizations should contribute, in response to queries we provide the following information without endorsement for those who are interested in order that they may make informed decisions about where to direct their resources.
