PLEASE CALL TO MAKE RESERVATION Under 7(j) Authority, training and technical assistance can be provided to: 1)Firms and Individuals participating in SBA's 8(a) Business Development Program 2)Other small disadvantaged businesses 3)Low income individuals, and 4)Firms in either labor surplus areas or areas with a high proportion of low-income individuals. The primary mission of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Business Development (BD) is to administer the section 8(a) program, which offers business development assistance to eligible small government contractors. Sections 7(j) and 8(a) of the Act are implemented by SBA regulations found at Title 13 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Section 124.
