This is the 3rd Section of our Small Business Venture Training series and is intended to facilitate the writing of the finance section of a business plan and includes using income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements. Students will learn how to project and evaluate the financial performance of their small business. Also covered is a discussion of the resources available andsteps necessary to obtrain debt or equity financing for a business (taught by Julie Foster, RCEDA) It is recommended that students have moderate fluency in MS Excel. Free Legal Clinic (offered monthly)

We are very pleased to announce that Chris Cassara of Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP has offered to continue to hold free legal clinics for small businesses in our office and outreach sites.

On the second Friday afternoon of each month, entrepreneurs and small business owners can meet one-on-one for 30 minutes to discuss general legal questions such as corporate structure, leases, contracts, insurance, employment, franchising, etc.

You will be able to schedule a confidential 30-minute meeting with Chris Cassara, a partner at Partridge Snow & Hahn, between 1:00 and 4:30 p.m. by calling MSBDCs office at 508-673-9783 x10.
