It is the global benchmark for quality design textiles of innovative functionality. Heimtextil, held on four days in January, is a platform for manufacturers, retailers and designers. During this time, international exhibitors from around the globe will be presenting their products to trade visitors January 8-11, 2014. Approximately 66,000 visitors from 128 countries came to Heimtextil 2013 trade show. According to the organizers at Messe Frankfurt, Heimtextil has succeeded in maintaining the number of visitors at a constant level despite the prevailing difficult economic climate. Over 2658 exhibitors from 62 countries displayed at Heimtextil 2013.

We are pleased to announce that the New Jersey SBDC at Rutgers-New Brunswick has been awarded the opportunity to host the 2014 Sams Club Grow Your Business Boot Camp. This event will be held January 8th, 2014 from 8:00AM-5:00PM and January 15th from 1:00PM-5:00PM. It will be held at our new Rutgers Business School address at 100 Rockafeller Road on the Livingston Campus. Our Middlesex County SBDC Clients with five (5) or more employees are welcomed to register.

Program Description:

The Boot Camp will include the necessary tools to make effective management decisions regarding growth and capacity building. A limited number of businesses will be selected to attend the Boot Camp. The course will include presentations on Business and Strategic Planning for Growth (including Access to Capital), Cash Flow Management as a Profitability Tool, Marketing and Digital Branding, Business Valuation for Financial Decision Making. Study aids and refreshments will be provided.
