This session focuses on moving goods overseas, including packaging and labeling. Have you learned the role of a freight forwarder? Because documentation is vital to successful international transactions, this course will also introduce basic export rules and take you through a step-by-step process of filling out certificates of origin, bills of lading and other important documents for export. Learn about incoterms, documentation, customs brokers and the services provided by freight forwarders. This is the fourth session of a 5-part certification program. In order to receive the certificate attendees need to register and attend at least 4 of the 5 sessions. The cost is $59 for one session, $275 for all 5. 1: Export Market Opportunities 2: Letters of Credit, Export Financing 3: U.S. Export Regulations 5: Legal Issues This series is now pre-approved by NASBITE as a CGBP recertification program. Attendees will receive 15 CPEs (Certified Global Business Professional recertification credits) towards annual recertification. NASBITE is an International Trade Association that manages and provides the professional certification for International Business Professionals.

A representative from Mountain Home Air Force Base will also be on hand to discuss their bidding opportunities.
