The classes take place on three (3) consecutive weekdays. Each session is a full day of classroom training beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 4:30 pm. The sessions are offered on a regular basis and there are about four 20 hour sessions each year. All three sessions are included in the price of $69.00. An SBDC Certificate of Completion will be awarded at the end of the 3 sessions. More importantly, you will walk away with valuable knowledge, ideas, motivation and resources. Hundreds have already taken this class and have benefited from the wealth of information and assistance.</p>

A 60-hour course in business planning, starting on March 19th and continuing until June 11th. The following topics are covered in depth: your customer, competition, marketing, record keeping, taxes, financing, legal aspects, and more. At the end of the class, you will have a completed business plan. There are also 3 monthly follow-up networking sessions at the completion of the class. Class size is limited to 15. You must complete an application, come to the orientation, have an individual interview, and be accepted into the class. ?***Note: This course qualifies for 3 Pass/Fail credits from the University of Maine at Augusta upon approval of your completed business plan and payment of a small processing fee. New VenturesTM is pre-approved for unemployment insurance (UI) recipients. Check with the UI office for information about training exemptions. All genders are welcome!
