The Innovation Expo calls intellectual property back to the place it begins its journey into the marketplace and showcases technology from America's innovators affiliated with large corporations, small businesses, academic institutions, government agencies, and the independent inventor community.

Participants in the Innovation Expo will also help inform future content and activities at the Innovation Pavilion, to open at the Smithsonian's Arts and Industries Building on the National Mall in summer 2014.Â
