U.S Trade and Development Agency Desk Studies

Total votes: 28

Desk studies are direct contract opportunities with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). Desk studies require that the contracted U.S. company provide a discrete analysis of well-defined project proposals. A desk study reviews and evaluates all aspects of a project proposal, including the terms of reference and budget, and recommends whether USTDA should provide funding for the project to the partner country project sponsor. The contracted U.S. company provides a preliminary assesment of the economic viability of proposed projects and determines whether they meet USTDA funding criteria. Desk studies benefit U.S. companies by helping them expand their international network and gain exposure to companies operating in emerging economies.
